Evaluation of the effects of a Riboflavin releasing contact lens on the pre lens tear film and related quality of vision in digital device users

Preliminary results from a study evaluating the effects of a Riboflavin-releasing contact lens on the pre-lens tear film and visual quality. The study includes an overview of digital eye strain and the role of the tear film in ocular health, as well as the assessment of the properties of riboflavin eluting lenses enriched also with vitamin E-TPGS, hyaluronic acid and TSP, highlighting their potential to stabilize the tear film. Key findings highlight improved tear stability and significant subjective improvements in visual comfort and quality. The results suggest potential benefits for digital device users.
